PR Manager - META

Trident Search has been working closely with a global cybersecurity vendor to strategically build their team for some time. While not an early-stage startup, the company operates with a startup mentality, continuously innovating and expanding its extensive product portfolio. We are currently looking to grow the marketing function with a Public Relations Manager META.

In this role, you will be focused on enhancing the reputation of an organisation within the META region. Your responsibilities will involve strategic planning, crisis communication, media relations, and content creation tailored to technical audiences. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, manage external agencies, and establish valuable connections throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to synchronise PR initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and sales goals, particularly during product launches, major events, and promotional efforts
• Create and oversee the production of specialised content aimed at the cybersecurity and anti-fraud communities within the META region. This includes developing white papers, industry reports, technical blogs, case studies, and thought leadership articles addressing current trends and challenges
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with tech and business journalists, editors, and influencers based in the META region
•  Coordinate with and manage local and global PR agencies to create localised pitches, provide rapid response commentary, and organise regional press events
• Handle communications related to cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, and other sensitive issues in a proactive manner
• Track media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities. Utilise analytics to assess the effectiveness of PR efforts and adjust strategies accordingly

Requirements:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (native level). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in public relations, particularly within the SaaS or technology sectors
• Demonstrated success with PR campaigns and media placements
• Strong network of media contacts within the technology sector in the UAE and Gulf Region
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with PR performance metrics and reporting tools
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• High level of professionalism and integrity
• Native Arabic speaker with full proficiency in English
