About the Role

Trident Search are partnered with a rapidly growing, value driven team of specialists, who focus on working with government clients in Cyber Security, National Security, Law Enforcement, and Telecommunications. We are seeking a skilled and driven Technical Consultant to join their team and assist in scoping, designing, and delivering mission-critical solutions. In this role, you will work closely with public sector clients and project teams to tackle challenging and interesting problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client engagements, providing recommendations based on data, observations, and facts 
  • Assess and understand clients’ technical needs, distinguishing between needs and wants 
  • Support the development and introduction of new services and technologies for both existing and new clients 
  • Design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions for complex client challenges, ensuring high-quality work within agreed timelines 
  • Configure, deploy, and test systems and solutions in a hands-on, practical manner 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders 
  • Analyse, manage, mitigate, and treat risks to minimise impact on projects 
  • Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors 
  • Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation 
  • Provide expert input to bids and proposals, scoping future work, and assisting in business growth 
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to colleagues and clients, sharing knowledge and experience 
Skills/Knowledge: 
  • Degree level education or significant relevant experience 
  • Flexible and able to deliver practical and expedient solutions 
  • Experience in a Consultancy, Systems Integrator, or similar organisation focused on complex technical challenges 
  • Proven experience leading client delivery across various projects, including those in data intelligence, technology, or security domains 
  • Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to persuade and motivate others 
  • Passionate about technology and problem-solving 
Location:
Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from the office or on client site as required
