About the Role

Trident Search have partnered with an innovative company specialising in leveraging data and AI for strategic decision-making. We are searching to find a highly skilled Regional Sales Director. 

In this role, you will spearhead sales growth within a specified region, crafting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to meet ambitious revenue targets. Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers and gaining a deep understanding of their needs will be crucial to your success 

Key Qualities We’re Looking For: 
  • A minimum of 5 years in enterprise sales, demonstrating a consistent and proven track record of surpassing sales targets. This includes experience in managing large accounts, negotiating high-value contracts, and delivering substantial revenue growth in previous roles. Success in similar sales environments and roles is essential 
  • Significant experience in selling complex enterprise software solutions is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding and articulating the value of sophisticated technology solutions to senior executives and decision-makers 
  • A deep and comprehensive understanding of the data and analytics landscape is crucial. This includes knowledge of current trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence. You should be well-versed in how these technologies can be leveraged to solve business challenges and drive strategic decision-making 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required. You should be able to clearly and effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, create compelling sales presentations, and engage audiences in a manner that drives action 
  • Proven capability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers. This involves developing trust, understanding client needs, and providing solutions that align with their strategic goals. Experience in managing long sales cycles and navigating complex organisational structures is essential 
  • Strong strategic acumen with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan. This includes setting clear goals, identifying target markets, creating strategies to penetrate those markets, and aligning sales efforts with broader business objectives. You should be adept at analysing market trends, assessing competitive landscapes, and adapting strategies to drive growth and achieve targets. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results, such as achieving or exceeding sales quotas, driving revenue growth, and successfully closing high-value deals. A data-driven approach to sales performance, with experience in tracking metrics, analysing performance data, and making data-informed decisions, is highly valued
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You should be comfortable with change and capable of adapting strategies to evolving market conditions and business needs 
  • While this role is focused on sales, a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with internal teams. Experience in leading cross-functional teams or projects and contributing to collective goals will be beneficial
