About the Role

Trident Search are working closely with a Cyber Threat Intelligence start up who are seeking an experienced Sales Executive based in the UK. Their key markets include Financial Services, Financial Market Infrastructures, Government, and Critical National Infrastructure. This role offers flexibility, with options for remote, office-based, or hybrid working arrangements, depending on what best suits your productivity. 

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the cybersecurity sector. You will utilise your expertise and network to generate leads, engage with prospects, and close deals. Collaboration with the technical team will be essential to tailor your sales approach to the specific needs of each client. 

Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of new business sales experience
  • Experience in both the UK and EU markets
  • Proven track record in selling cyber threat intelligence or related products and services
  • Proficiency in managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Strong communication skills across all organisational levels
  • High emotional intelligence with a consultative sales approach
  • Clear, professional, and concise communication abilities
  • Established network within the cybersecurity industry
  • Strong connections within Financial Services, Financial Market Infrastructures, Government, or Critical National Infrastructure sectors
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Engage potential clients through calls, emails, and meetings (including on-site if required)
  • Understand client needs and customise sales presentations to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with the technical team to accurately represent our products and services
  • Negotiate and close deals, meeting sales targets
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to the team.
